The Jedi techniques mainly cover their force abilities. All techniques can be learned to a general level based on stat growth, but spec points must be spent to master those techniques. Each technique has 3 levels of proficiency starting at novice, then learned, and then mastered.. Each ability is placed into seperate sections depending on the stat that affects them.

Control

These are the bare bones basic abilities one is trained in at the academy. These abilities focus mainly on a characters Force stat.

[Force Sense]

By being in tune with the force, one can get a inait understanding of ones surroundings. One could sense other life forms, or the intentions of others. While it is difficult, people can still lie to a Jedi. This also does not extend to droids because they have no living prescense in the force, and no thoughts of their own. However, a persons reaction to, say, a squadron of battle droids, would be a clue that danger is coming.

Requires ~500 Force~

[Force Stealth]

Though the force can be a powerful ally, there comes a time when a Jedi must divorce himself from its connection in order to conceal himself from another force users. By doing this the Jedi can become hidden for 3 rounds, and then 1 additional round for ever 500 Force. This does not extend to physical world which means a Jedi can be discovered by none force related means.

Requires ~1000 Force~

[Force Cloak]

Sometimes a Jedi must hide himself from the material world. Although difficult, this ability will allow someone to do just that. By influencing the minds of those around them, a Jedi can literally disappear right before someones eyes using this power. Because of the concentration required this ability generally can not last for long, 2 rounds and then 1 additional round per 1000 Force, but can be useful when someone wishes to escape a confrontation.

Requires ~ 2000 Force~

Alter

These abilities allow a Jedi to alter the world around them, as well as themselves. While difficult to master, they are very important for a budding Jedi Knight.

[Telekinesis]

The general movement of objects with the power of the mind, Telekinesis can be great for shifting away large obstacle so long as one isn't in a hurry. This can also be used to pick up droids, people, and perhaps even your cup of caf if you don't have a hand free. The range is affected by the size of the object, and ones mastery of the force.

The maximum range of this ability is 10 meters. For every 5 kilos the object weighs the range decreases by 1 meter. Range increases by 1 meter for every 500 Force Kinesis/1000 Force

Requires ~500 Force Kinesis~

[Force Jump]

By focusing the power of the force into ones legs, they can temporarily increase their jumping capability. This leads to the incredible leaps Jedi can often be seen taking.

By using this ability the user can leap 5 meters into the air at the most.

Requires ~1000 Force Kinesis~

[Force Pull/Push]

For times when great control is less nescessary than speed, a Jedi can use this power to release a pulse that pushes/pulls objects away/toward them. The best example would be calling someones lightsabre to their hands.

Because of the lack of control this ability requires, there is no real range limit. However ones hold over can object becomes even less refined the further it is, and the pulse can begin to weaken after only 5 meters.

Requires ~1500 Force Kinesis~

Light Sabre Technique

Being a Jedi isn't just about waving the force around. There are times when a Jedi must use his lightsabre to defend himself, and those around him. However, a Jedi's ability in the force is a large part of lightsabre combat. This means that these techniques are more of a blend of both Lightsabre technique, and unique force powers.

[Force Smash]

This is perhaps one of the easiest abilities for an apprentice to learn. Unlike many force powers that a Jedi learns, this one requires practically no finesse. A compressed blast of force power unleashed on the target as your lightsabre hit it. This is best for breaking through an enemies guard. The only down side is that it can be pretty obvious that this attack is coming.

~Requires 500 Lightsabre Combat~

[Sabre Throw]

While generally not recommended there does come a time when a Jedi needs to get more range from his lightsabre. Since it can be difficult to make the blade lengthen this is generally done by throwing the weapon so that it spins through the air like a saw with the aim of cutting off your enemies legs. The obvious problem is that if you miss you have no weapon.

~Requires 1000 Lightsabre Combat~

[No Hands Attack]

Is it possible to wield a lightsabre with no hands? Oh yes, for a Jedi at least. With a little bit of control a Jedi can swing their lightsabre while it is away from their body, and use it to cut up an enemy when he leasts expects it. No one expects that little cylinder on the floor to take on a life of its own.

~Requires 2000 Lightsabre Combat and 1000 Force kinesis~
